(Added March ‘22) Keep in touch with the in-country contacts to see how the war is affecting the schools we visit, offer assistance as we are able. For now, our March mission trip has been suspended. PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE FOLKS!
Visit 6 major sights and explore needs in another four sites
Set up “mini-clinics” we ran out of time to do last October, using donated equipment we will leave there to test kids for fitting instruments during the next mission, take impressions, all while training in-country volunteers to do this themselves and not rely as much on our assistance
Fit another 150 children and youth with hearing aids
Raise at least $30,000 for both hearing and orphan projects
Ukraine Mission-update November 2021
150 children fit with 175 hearing aids! (We hope to set up the “mini-clinics” next April-not enough time).
Visit 11 sites DONE!
Thank you to those who gave through North Texas Giving that allowed us to fit more children.
2021 GOALS:
o Visit six major sites and explore needs in another four sites DONE!
Setting up “mini-clinics” in two of the sites bringing them closer to being self-servicing
o We’ll combine our normal Oct “smaller mission” for selecting the fittings needed for the next year with our April “larger mission” of actually fitting the orphans with hearing devices and to work with the orphanage project outside of the hearing project DONE!
o We hope to raise at least $30,000 for both hearing and orphan projects through:
§ All profits from Continuing Education through Hearing Healthcare Instructional Institute go to this mission
§ Church donations from many faith communities
§ GoFundMe
§ Amazon Smile program (Amazon Smile will donate .5% of individual purchases purchased through them to a charity that the individual specifies-our company is one of the listed charitable organizations)
§ Individual Donations
§ North TX Giving Day Donations held in September each year—2021 dates for giving are 9/1/21-9/23/21. Any online giving to the North TX Giving Day website under our name during that time will have matching funds donated to make your dollars go even further!

Goal of 100 hearing aid “units” to be dispensed (actual was 120!)
Fundraising for $30,000 set
2018 GOALS
In April '18 we visited Special Schools in Kiev, Dnepro, Sumy and Revnie.
Goal of 65-85 hearing aid "units" to be dispensed (actual-we fit 73 children, including several binaural sets)
Fundraising for $28,000 set for this project-there is a lot of need in these special schools
To give you an idea of the need, we are currently working with two of the thirteen orphanages in the Sumy oblast, and Sumy is the least populated of all Ukrainian oblasts! We could easily have fit 100 more kids this year.
Priority locations: Kiev, Dnepro, Sumy and Revno

HHII-nonprofit Baby and youth Orphanage Program
We currently have several individuals who give monthly to support our orphanage program and we are looking for more individuals who can share monthly, or can give occasionally to assist with funding for emergencies that come up quite often like heat and water issues, etc.
Monthly support of our orphanage program continues to come in from many individuals, and we are so thankful for what we can do with their assistance! More people are needed in this area
Oct 2020 we will visit and work with the orphanages through our local contacts, assessing needs
